International tax planning
Structuring for individuals and companies whose affairs cross borders: residency timing, holding structures and participation in businesses abroad, designed carefully and kept compliant.
What it is
International tax planning starts with how each country involved taxes you or your company, and how the applicable treaties allocate that right. From there, we look at the structure: where you are resident, how companies and assets are held, and how income moves between them.
Where a structure is appropriate, we design it to fit your actual circumstances and keep it compliant. Where a matter needs advice under another country’s law, we coordinate with independent specialists in that jurisdiction.
When it is useful
- You are moving to Spain with income or assets abroad
- You hold, or plan to hold, shares in companies outside Spain
- You are considering a holding company structure
- You want to know whether a special tax regime applies to you
- Income is being taxed in two countries
- Your structure was set up some time ago and has not been reviewed
