Luis Rendón

Tax & Accounting

Luis Rendón leads Worldwide Framework and its Tax & Accounting practice. He advises individuals, entrepreneurs and companies whose tax position is shaped by more than one country.

His work runs from residency and structuring questions at the outset to the accounting, compliance and reporting that keep a person or a business in good standing over the long term.

The firm

Worldwide Framework was created to give international clients a more connected way of handling tax, accounting and cross-border matters.

Rather than treating each question in isolation, the firm considers how tax, business structure, residency and wider commercial decisions interact. As clients’ needs have grown into financial analysis, risk and digital questions, the firm has brought in complementary expertise while keeping the direct relationship with Luis at its centre.

Areas of expertise

Tax advisory

The tax consequences of a move, a structure, a sale or a new activity, assessed before the decision is made rather than after.

Tax residency

Whether, when and how Spanish tax residency applies; the presence, economic-interest and family tests; treaty tie-breakers.

International & non-resident tax

Income and assets in more than one country, double-tax relief, and non-resident obligations including Modelo 210.

Corporate tax & VAT

Corporate income tax, VAT, withholdings and the tax side of company formation and holding structures.

Accounting & reporting

Bookkeeping, statutory books and annual accounts, plus management reporting a business can actually use.

Company formation & administration

Setting up as self-employed or as a company in Spain, and the administration that keeps it in good standing.

International clients

Most of Luis’s clients have ties to more than one country. Typical situations include:

  • Moving to Spain and becoming Spanish tax resident
  • Living between Spain and another country
  • Owning property or other assets across jurisdictions
  • Setting up a company or activity in Spain
  • Operating a business internationally from Spain
  • Managing ongoing cross-border filing obligations

Approach

Personal

Practical

Advice should lead to clear action, not unnecessary complexity.

Connected

Tax, accounting, residency and business decisions frequently interact, and are considered together.

Long term

The firm supports clients as their circumstances and businesses evolve.
